The Child Health Advantage Program, formerly eVaccines, is managed by Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA). CHCA, an alliance of 44 non-competing children’s hospitals, offers these hospitals a network of improvement resources to help them develop more effective clinical, financial and operational strategies.
Since its inception in 2001, the Advantage Program has provided over 5,000 physicians access to contracted pricing on GSK vaccines. In 2007, physicians purchased a combined $59 million worth of contracted vaccines saving over $15.9 million on vaccine purchases. The program continues to grow and is looking to enhance physicians buying power with the introduction of a full line of products and services utilized in physician offices in mid 2009.
CHCA is an alliance of 44 children’s hospitals serving North America. CHCA has been in existence since 1986 with the mission of helping our member hospital organizations become more effective, efficient, and safe in the delivery of pediatric care. CHCA offers several programs which help hospitals accomplish this mission, including Performance Improvement, Knowledge Exchange (CHEX), Executive Institutes and Group Purchasing Services.
